CLIMBUSA was excited to announce the results of our 2022 essay contest. CLIMB hosted a book analysis on "The Baby Billionaire Guide to Investing" by author Ionnie Mcneill. Youth ages 8 to 18 were eligible and encouraged to participate, with a cash incentive if placed among the top 4.
Essayists were challenged to develop critical thinking to execute constructive self-expression. Throughout late May and early June, judges April Kumapayi, Kyree Brooks, Chassitti Clark, and Jamila Lee Johnson were overwhelmed with responses, ultimately making choosing a winner difficult. We want to give a special thanks to our incredible judges from the Urban League Young Professionals, an organization prioritizing education, community empowerment, and professional advancements by employment. The judges were a puzzle that fit right in at CLIMB!
CLIMB is proud to announce the winners of the Voice of the Youth Essay contest, along with appreciating all participants. Competitions such as this are a stepping stone to gain a learning experience, because a positive attitude is what makes you extraordinary.
