Go4it! Success Institute presents . . . Voice through Visuals

Society’s view of reality is shaped through stories and narratives. The most enduring narratives are ones that are strategically conceived, creatively constructed and artfully presented. It follows that filmmaking is a most powerful form of communication of ideas and documentation of events. The evolution of technology has enabled anyone to become “an influencer” of ideas, a purveyor of narratives, or a curator of stories. Content creation these days is as easy as it is lucrative.

This Go4it! Success Institute which focuses on Visual Content Creation will be led by an all-star filmmaking team in their first instructional collaboration.

The Go4it! Voice through Visuals workshop will provide teenage and young adult participants opportunities to learn how to use the tools at their disposal to tell the stories that are important to them, thus creating and controlling narratives that shape and influence society.

Registration is free for Collective Impact Community Based Organizations, including Running Rebels, Journey House, Operation Dream, Neighborhood House, Milwaukee Public Schools and One Hundred Black Men of Madison.
