Go4It! Showcasing Your Mind’s Eye: The Art of Visual Story Telling Series

Being a good communicator is only half the battle in today’s media rich environment.  Influencers and leaders must be able to make their case with verve, style, and aplomb.  Storytelling is the new narrative medium.  And visual storytelling raises the bar.

The Go4it! Success Institute will present a three-part series entitled:

Showcasing Your Mind’s Eye: The Art of Story Telling

The Go4it! Art of Story Telling Series will provide teenage and young adult participants practical training and guidance on:

• How to make a story inspiring and compelling 
• Conceptualizing and writing a script for your story 
• Staging your story
• Filming your story
• Sharing and promoting your story

Matt Mixon, former CBS executive and filmmaker, will be the lead instructor for the series.  Jeremy Tardy, a Los Angeles based actor and director, and Michael Tucker, a Chicago based corporate branding and storytelling executive, will serve as the artistic advisors for this series. The series will include opportunities for participants to meet and network with other special guests.

All Sessions will be from 10 am – 12 noon CST and the series is free for members of Running Rebels, Journey House, Operation Dream, Urban Underground, and YES (Young Enterprise Society).  Space permitting, others will be allowed to register at a cost of $75 per person for the series.
